Small Easter

Easter is supposed to BIG!  It is usually the Sunday when the church is filled. It is one of those Sundays people remember the church and come.  It is fitting that Easter marks the biggest gift that God has ever given to the world- the resurrection of Jesus Christ!  Each Easter we gather to proclaim that God has opened the door of fear and death for us to live a whole new life!!!  But what happens after Easter Sunday?

Easter is not just a day but a life that begins anew on that day.  Easter is not just about the resurrection of Jesus 2000 years ago but about the resurrection of his spirit in the lives of those who trust and love him.  What God has done on the first Easter morning makes us live EVERY morning as Easter Morning.

Small Easter is a monthly informal yet inspirational gathering to help each other to live each day as Easter in which God renews our hearts and transforms our lives.  We gather on the last Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm. We sit around the communion table for singing, both personal and collective prayers, meditation, sharing of the Communion, and receiving oil for healing for wholeness in our life and the world.
