CHILD & YOUTH MINISTRIES

There are few things more fulfilling for us than giving children and youth an opportunity to grow into beautiful young adults. Through First United Methodist Church’s child and youth ministry services, and Sunday school sessions for children, we inspire and are inspired by all participants. Children and Youth Ministries

  • Sunday School

    Children, preschool through elementary age, are invited to attend Sunday School at 9:00am every Sunday, September through June. There are also Sunday School classes for Youth. All meet in the Sanctuary for a short Opening Service before proceeding to class.

  • Kingdom Kid’s Nursery

    Nursery care for children ages 0 to 5 is available during Sunday morning worship. Come and worship, knowing that your children are in a safe, clean, fun environment!

  • Kid’s Zone

    Kids are invited to "Junior Church" during Sunday morning worship. Children have an opportunity to "hear" the message during sermon time. For ages 6 and up.

  • Vacation Bible School

    Every July, First United Methodist Church hosts a week-long Vacation Bible School. The fun starts at 5:45 pm with dinner and then off we go to sing, dance, enjoy a puppet show, listen to people from the Bible and participate in small group classes. Vacation Bible School is for all ages — preschool through adult!

  • Summer Camp

    First United Methodist Church offers a week-long summer camp for ages 3 to 12. Scholarships available. For more info call 622.8863 or email office@fumcmanchester.org.

  • Youth Group

    High School aged students meet monthly for mission project planning, fellowship, pizza and more!
